Individual study plan

The individual study plan is an important educational tool for effective PhD education, since the individual study plan provides a basis for determining the rights and obligations of the PhD student.

As soon as possible after enrollement on the PhD studies, an individual study plan up to the intended degree should be prepared by the PhD student and her/his supervisors. More information about the individual study plan can be found in the study syllabus, chapter 5.3 Individual study plan.

In 2021, a web-based ISP system will be introduced for managing PhD 
students' ISPs. Ask at your Department if you used the new web-based ISP system.

From 1 April 2021, all new PhD students should use the eISP system. 
ISP for all PhD students should be in the eISP system no later than 
2021-12-31 and be approved by the Head of the Department no later than 2022-02-28.
