Gala dinner

MiddagenThe dinner is at the Garden restaurant at Linköping Concert & Congress Hall. Our ambition is to invite all graduates with their guests. Each graduates has the opportunity to invite 3 gusets each.

Seating

The restaurant has a limited number of seats which will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. In your confirmation e-mail we will let you know whether the seats you requested have been reserved.

There will be a seating chart. We are trying to seat graduates who have completed the same programme next to each other, and close to their respective families.

Dinner

The studentesque dinner is led by two toastmasters who are also students at the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Guests will be treated to entertainment, live music and speeches by staff, alumni and students.

Menu

Starter

Cheese pie served with whitefish roe, red onion and creme fraiche, with herb salad.

Main course

Swedish roast sirloin with locally sourced root vegetables and baby tomatoes

served with potatoes au gratin and an intense red wine reduction.

 

Vegetarian alternative

Starter

Cheese pie served with seaweed caviar, red onion and oat-based fraiche, with herb salad.

Main course

Citrus-marinated portobello mushrooms with creamed artichokes and truffle-infused rolled rösti.

Cost, dinner

695 SEK per person (dinner with non-alcoholic drinks 645 SEK)
250 SEK for children up to 12 years

The price includes a glass of cider for the toast, one glass of wine for the starter and 1,5 glasses of wine for the main course, coffee/tea and chocholate praline.

Nighttime mingle and dancing

Celebrations will continue after dinner with live music courtesy of student bands. Expect spontaneous dancing, laughter and networking opportunities!
